WIP Wednesday: Various holidays edition

Aaaaargh! I have so much to doooooooo! The cry of all knitters everywhere on the run up to Christmas.

Today I am mostly working on knitting this cowl design. The pattern is written and being emergency tech edited, the idea was to publish tomorrow night but the rate of stupid mistakes being made in knitting the sample suggests it may end up being pushed back to next week. Sigh.

It'll start to look more like a real thing any minute now...

Of course it’s Halloween this week too, so I’m busy trying to make a believably creepy ghost costume without ruining this white dress in the process. It’s not strictly knitting (or even crochet), but I might end up having to make a money pouch to wear garter style because I don’t think ghosts carry handbags. So there we go, crochet connection.

Not slutty enough for Halloween. Yet.

Adding to all this stress is the fact that Boyfriend is planning something mysterious for Saturday and won’t tell me what it is. I don’t deal well with surprises, tell me damn you!A Dog’s Purpose 2017 live streaming film online

Lastly, I have recovered enough (physically, at least) from the disaster that was last year’s Christmas knitting to give it another go. Boyfriend’s “Boring Reindeers” cardigan was taken out of storage and I’ve attempted to make  a second sleeve to match the one I did last year. Unfortunately the me of a year ago was in a massive hurry and found the pattern confusing and basically just made it up as she went along so this second sleeve is very slightly shorter than the first. It’s not really noticeable, so I’m not sure why I’m admitting it to you. Oh well. Button band and general finishing to go, then on to the other two remaining jumpers I have to do!

I know, they look more like crazy horses.

So that’s it! Only 3 WIPs this week which is probably some sort of record. Technically there are more but I’ve classified them as “hibernating” until all this seasonal malarkey is out of the way. Phew!
